An "e-book" or "electronic book" is downloaded in electronic form or delivered on CD. It is less expensive than a printed book because the costs are lower. Many people read an e-book on their computer screen without printing it out.
When you purchase an e-book, you'll be able to download immediately. You will also receive email with a URL that will allow you to download within 24 hours. Depending upon the speed of your connection and the size of the e-book, the download can take a few seconds to several minutes to complete.
